We shot some milk jugs to find out what they would do. The balls passed through two milk jugs and smacked an old level II vest SO HARD that you can still see the imprint of the threads of the vest on the ball. The ball pictured expanded to .432” or just slightly larger in diameter than a .44 magnum. For the blissfully ignorant a .44 is actually .429”. Can your 00 buck .410 2 ½” shell expand like that???
